I learned the hard way that swimmers need to buy suits sized to put them in the middle: not too tight nor too loose. With my 36" hips, the Lole XS (35-36.5") fits just right for lap swimming, no flapping on the kick or sagging on the walk back to the lockers. I like the neon orange, the high-cut waist, and the regenrated nylon.

The orange cut fits me a little better (I'm 26.5"x36"). The raspberry is cut higher in the front and requires more shaving, and the bum isn't quite as snug. It still does the trick if you're looking for a more modest bottom as a 41-year-old instructor at the college pool!

Sadly, my bottoms didn’t fill out the baby suit enough so I have a little bit of a gap in fit but it’s not the company’s problem.
